The creator and founder of Gorilla Games is William R Thompson (Rhodes). Rhodes is a man of many talents and truly an entrepreneur by all definitions. He has bought, owned, turned around and sold multiple companies in his career but his passion has always been retail. He currently owns and operates a very successful company, Thompson Wireless Inc, a Mississippi company. This 29 store operation is spread over two state and as been the recipient of multiple awards from its national vendor. Rhodes has taken his 20 years of success and wrapped it in a nice package called Gorilla Games.Rhodes, his wife and son reside in a suburb of Memphis, TN.
The Co-Founder of Gorilla Games Franchisee L.L.C. is Shipman B Northcutt. Shipman's 30 years of business experience in wholesale and retails will be a real asset to the development of Gorilla Games. His most recent experience was Airtime Wireless L.L.C. where he built this company to 15 retail outlets in a short 36 month. The company was sold to AT&T in December of 2007. Previous to Airtime Shipman spent 20 years with CARQUEST Auto Parts. His last position before leaving to start Airtime was Vice President of sales for the Eastern Division. His career at CARQUEST placed him in front of retail business owners all over the nation. During his career, Shipman received multiple achievements awards including 4 time president club winner and National Sales manger of the year.Shipman, his wife and two daughters reside in Raleigh, NC.
Chris has a tremendous amount of retail experience since he has owned and operated his own businesses since graduating from Troy University in Alabama. He certainly made good use of his education in entrepreneurship and marketing and now owns 37 retail locations. Twenty-eight of them are AT&T wireless stores, four are Sports Heaven retail locations and the three Gorilla Games stores.He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team with his expertise in location selection and management, internet marketing and a “make it happen” attitude. He is currently developing our Gorilla Games mobile gaming program. His 13 years of successful retail development and high energy personality will help drive us to our goals.Chris has 3 children and lives a sunny life in West Palm Beach, Fl.
Stan’s education is in accounting but he has spent his career in sales and sales management. He has had much success in the area of customer and open market development. Stan worked with over 150 independently owned CARQUEST Auto Parts stores and aided in their successful development. In his 30 years in the automotive aftermarket, he received numerous awards related to both financial and sales performance. He is a 2-time winner of the President’s Club award at CARQUEST. He is well versed in retail. Stan’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping entrepreneurs become successful.Stan and his wife live in Franklin, TN.
